Fuel delivery problem

I had a fuel delivery problem which seem to be vapor lock so I put an electric fuel pump on then it ran great for about 110 miles and then it quit again because I think the tank was empty so then I put gas in the in the tank and it ran but then it died when I slow down so I am not quite sure what's causing this to happen it seems like I have either a fuel delivery problem or a carb problem
