Charles, you're the best! Very well explained, and it is obvious that having a motorcycle manual is necessary "tool" to have around.

My yfm700 grizzly gets power to the pump when during cycling when key is first turned on; but not when winding over starter motor. Any ideas?

Interesting timing, I just replaced the fuel injection pump-motor on my WR250R Yesterday.
The bike is basicly Brand New - sat for 1 winter, and the OEM pump crapped out..
Anyways.. Now w/ the new setup in, and 4.7 gal tank Topped Off,
the 'low-fuel-LED-light" has come on and won't stop blinking.
[No one seems to be able to provide a straight answer for fixing it either]
If anyone has any advise/ideas - They'd be very much appreciated!

My fuel pump only primes when the engine is cool. Once it’s warmed up and you turn the key on there is no fuel pump prime and no start until it’s cooled back down.
