Let’s see how the SC, who had no problem breaking precedence and overturned RvW, will wiggle out of their only responsibility of upholding the law

It is amazing how many people in this country having credentialed educations can read the 14th amendment and yet not "publicly" understand it

The wording includes that a person is disqualified for providing aid & comfort to those engaged in a rebellion. It doesn’t have to be defined as an insurrection or include participation. Read Trumps tweets on that day. That’s all the evidence needed.

Thank you for explaining this so purely & plainly. Let's hope that the Supreme Court can be relied upon to deliver this ruling. This will stop Trump's campaign in it's tracks.

The important thing we need to remember is if he appeals to the SCOTUS, they WILL agree with the Colorado Supreme Court.
To do otherwise would make our Constitution null and void and we DON'T want to start doing this as it'd be the further unraveling of our democracy.
The law is there for ALL our citizens; the rich shall not be excluded!!

Didn't Trump say he didn't pledge an Oath to the constitution so why would he want to serve in office that requires the exact thing he disagree with.🙄🙄🙄

They need to make a law that a person needs to pass a security clearance before they can get on the ballot for any federal office.

Yes!!!
Trump told his supporters in that rally on January 6th, to go down to the Capital building, and to interruptible that Electoral College Officiated Vote that was taking place that day. So, Trump, is responsible for that Capitol building riot, he is responsible for those people getting hurt, and the ones who died that day, because of the rioting at the Capital, and also for the ones who died afterwards as a result of the rioting, and not getting immediately medical help because of rioting at the Capital building, on that January 6th, day. So, yes, Trump is responsible, because he is even on the news reports from Jan 6th, "telling his supporters to go down to the Capital building and take your country back." Yes, Trump, shouldn't be allowed to have his name on any national ballot for president. And, if the Supreme Court overturns these lower State courts ruling about this issue, then they showed who they really are, just more loyal people to Trump, and not to this country.

In Trump's case he'll say...I have presidential immunity to participte in an insurrection.' His stupidity is beyond comparison.

Everyone is forgetting he also offers aid and comfort to convicted insurrectionists which makes him double ineligible via the same amendment!!!
