Who it's for: Everyday users looking to level up and expand their knowledge to become SharePoint power users like site owners and managers. Introductory-level experience with SharePoint is highly recommended.

What it is: Microsoft SharePoint is a cloud-based service that helps organizations share and manage content, knowledge, and applications to empower teamwork, quickly find information, and seamlessly collaborate across the organization.

What you'll learn: We will start by working with sites. Specifically, we will work with site templates to create sites and move on to learning how to navigate the site and manage site navigation. Next, we will focus on page content. This section includes the creation of Wiki library pages, editing a team site’s home page, and using web part pages to display content. We’ll move on to drilling down into site columns and content types. Site columns allow you the flexibility of reusing content throughout a site and even child sites. Content types can be linked to lists and libraries. They are a combination of site columns, document templates, and workflows. Managing site permissions is the next (and very important) area we’ll dive into. Specifically, we will cover SharePoint groups, how to assign permissions, permissions levels, and permission inheritance/disinheritance.

I love this clip, it's very comprehensive! Thumbs up!
I'd like some more insight in the consequences of making certain choices. Such as activating Sharepoint server standard site collection features @7:56 in the clip. It's a pity that the browser's URL bar is left out from the presentation. It helps me to orientate where I am in the hierarchy and identifying pages and sites, which I think is kind of crucial in sharepoint.

The pacing is definitely not for power users. This course could be at least half a hour or even a hour shorter and makes me hope I see the instructor of the first two videos in the play list again. Also this "power user" course had a lot of redundant stuff that has been covered in the first two beginner videos already.
