I have the Momentums paired to my mac AND my phone at the same time and can switch between listening to sound from one device to the other instantaneously.
And I mean instant: Say you are watching youtube with one device, just tap on play on the other device and the Momentums switch the source in under a second, the other video pauses automatically.... NOICE

I use Bose QC25 and they are awesome. Amazing sound and comfort. And never encountered any problem with noise cancellation.

This was a very good review, it really covered some of the more particular questions I had, most importantly the bluetooth sound quality on non-AptX devices.  Looks like I'll be getting the wired over-ear version of these then.

What you pay, is what you will get. Was initially looking at buying the V Moda wireless. Not now, will be looking more up market. Appreciate the information.

I was between Sennheiser momentum 2.0 and Bower and Wilkins P5S wireless.
I have try them up close and I have to say Momentum are way big for portable they sound great but B&W p5 are a litle better on wireless more flat. Also they are smaller and lighter momentum have better noise cancel and better batery.

FYI Dimitri (apologies if I spelt your name wrong) - the wired versions also fold in. It was the original versions that didn't.

I own and love them. Got them a week ago and I use them at home whenever possible and enjoy the Noise cancellation. (But you are right that it has different cancellation depending on what way you turn your head)

I'd spend $500 for wireless headphones, but not the Momentum given the shortcomings discussed in the clip.  I'm interested in what V-Moda will offer for a bluetooth set and if it doesn't automatically turn noise cancellation on and allows for headphone controls when wired, I'd be willing to pay up to $700.  A quality headphone set is well worth that if you travel a great deal and I'll pair it to the Amazon Fire TV when its firmware is upgraded.

Just wanted to say that you can switch off the audio cancellation by pressing the power button off.

I just bought the headphones and I wanted to say the audio cancellation is too intense I don't know if anyone had the issue of the pressure in my ears it was really a turn off. And as the review says for that price you expect perfection.

I got these recently, definitely need some improving, as there are just lots of small, stupid things you would expect to be fixed in a product of this price point, they are supposed to be a headset (with microphone) however they for some reason made the cable go from 4 pole to 3 pole meaning the mic is unusable when wired (and not easily replaceable due to the 2.5mm locking end). The noise cancelling is not very strong, and not toggle-able, and the headband could do with some more padding (often find myself readjusting it to reduce pressure on my head). The headphones are nice and flexible, but any movement or wind going past them is heard and quite loud, ruins the general listening experience if you are doing anything that might bump it, once I was wearing a jacket that touched the bottom of the headphone metal band thingy (I have to wear them on a pretty small setting) it was too noisy to be bothered wearing them. Also you can't listen to music when charging (idk if this is normal or something people do) as when plugged in there is some kind of weird feedback sound. However, they have an awesome sound signature and fit the head quite well most of the time, the travel case is good quality and the headphones look great. Not worth the cost, there are much better options out there. I would only consider buying for < $175 USD even then, other headphones are better value for cost if you do some research.

These seem like nice headphones, but too expensive for my blood. Would be interested in a review of the V-Moda XS on-ears. Also wondering if Enthoo Evolv ITX and ATX chassis review is in the works? :)

USD$500 is too steep for me, I opted for the wired Momentum 2.0s, the extra features I don't find necessary. I'd only recommend it if you have the cash and either need a wireless pair or think the wireless enabling features are impressive enough to warrant a pair for yourself...

Good review. If you like listening to acoustic songs and have a strong preference for hearing clear vocals, do you think the Momentum Wireless or Urbanite XL wireless are more suitable?
