Sennheiser Momentum 4 Review: The Gentleman’s Bass Cannon

Listening to this on momentum 4’s. Love these things. I don’t know if I just got lucky or if it was a firmware update but I’ve not had any connection issues and absolutely love these. Icing on the cake-as a glasses wearers I worship the fact that these over the ear headphones are as comfortable as they are. 🥰

I wanted to love Sony, but they let me down with abysmal customer service and horrendous quality control on two separate ocassions, and with their very premium and very expensive WF-1000XM4. They were supposed to be the very best in the industry, but with driver updates, they managed to destroy the battery of the right earbud on my original purchase and the replacement they sent. I spent $300 USD on something that became e-waste within 11 months. On top of that, the customer service reps addressed me like I was a prison inmate.

Sony, never again. Sennhheiser has NEVER let me down. I've bought over 12 of their headphones since 2010, and they're all still delivering day-1 performance. My og HD 202 (first Sennheiser product I bought), HD 205, HD 4.4, og Momentum on-ears, og Momentum in-ears, and the unparalleled HD 598 SE (to me the best price to performance headphones in the industry's history). Now that I got these, the new Momentums, I'm truly loving them.

Man only if these had no issues smh. Just brought the xm4's online im exited. (By issues i mean one ear being lower than the other and turning off for no reason)

Hey sir im goin to buy my first expensive headphones im confused between xm5 and momentum 4 which is best for long run and value and overall? And momentum is good for working out and gaming?

Waching this on my original 10-year old Momentum 1, before bluetooth and noise cancelling was a thing, haha.

Sennheiser is the best in sound, but damn this new model is horrible in design and materials. It's a big step backwards from the Momentum 2 or 3.

I find the xm5 very muddy as with AirPods Max but the m4 is way better with sound quality

Case -5 out of 5. If you have the case upside down the headphones will turn on

I hate how hot they are on the ears. Those pads are terrible.

I’d say the sound quality is a 3 out of 5 (Sony was way better sounding) and comfort would be a solid 5 out of 5
