If you are not able to control the movement, no matter how much you raise the pulley, the shoulder continues to steal part of the movement, only with more tension and a greater risk of injury.

Just a suggestion: i am a newbie into gymming so it would be a great help for people like me if you add a bit of description regarding on which muscle does this particular exercise helps grow and repetition count and related info....also introduce a series related to gymming like diet and stuff that people usually miss or ignore but they are vital for muscle growth❤ Btw love your work

Put the cable @ wrist height, then proceed. Putting the cable @ risk height, Greatly reduces " uncomfortableness" as far as shoulders are concerned and your in control of the exercise especially the "negative" which makes Any Exercise Great 👍

Put it a little higher or on the same level as your arm while slightly slanted back. Then do strict curls. Not sure if thats the best of the best ways but has been working super well for me.

If prefer the first guys 'single arm curl' better, problem is his form was off because weight was to heavy.

Why not just raise it to around hand level? That is way more comfortable and the cable aligns with your forearm.

Not even Tyler has this motion path mastered. It’s really difficult and wonky looking with one arm.
