I hated cutting plaster with wood large behind😂I remember trying to use a sawzall once and it just shook all the plaster off the lathe

Good tip. Have dulled more than a few Bi-Metal oscillating blades cutting through plaster before. Never thought to use the abrasive blade like that, but it makes sense.

I know this is drywall. We’re just using it to simulate a 3in thick steel plate to show how well this blade would cut through 3in steel plate. 🤣

Use a masonry blade with a small circ saw and vacuum attachment

Used a “titanium” bit for metal and the plaster chewed it up in about 15 seconds

That first cut was rougher than hessian undies. Time costs more than the blades bro, just use the right one instead of changing them like a goose every 5 secs when cutting out a site.

Nope. The best tool is the makita cut out saw easily and it’s not even close.
