For ppl who don’t understand after taping it together he cut it it cuts through one of the line in the cross (it didn’t fall apart bc the side of the line is glued) then it opens up and folds in half then cut through which cuts open the 2nd line then it gets flipped inside out bc of how it was folded. So it was basically cutting a cross inside the paper cross.


Btw this was too much for my brain to handle so I had to actually fold it irl

Just imagine that both shapes have L shapes on the corners and when you devide both shapes into 4 pieces you get the same L shape.

So basicly its just a fancy way of flipping the corners around
