The inspiration behind this video:

Mufasa: The Lion King now has a significant difference from Jon Favreau's The Lion King, which could fix a big mistake of the latter. The story of Mufasa: The Lion King centers around the titular character, chronicling his journey from a stray lion to the king of the Pride Lands. Mufasa: The Lion King's voice cast features an array of talent, some returning from 2019's The Lion King, given the former is simultaneously a prequel and a sequel.

In this vein, Mufasa: The Lion King is taking queues from The Lion King 1 1/2, one of the few good Disney straight-to-video sequels. Aside from telling a compelling origin story for the titular king, many are hoping that Mufasa will better the live-action Lion King, which was criticized for its photorealism and lack of expression and emotion as a result. Recently, Mufasa's director, Barry Jenkins, may have proved a method through which the film can do so by differentiating it from Favreau's The Lion King in one key way.

I think the best part of this live action prequel is not only the music, but the fact that the villains are based on probably the few underrated mythologies of African culture. They say that the white lions are descendants of one of the sun gods they’re like the angels of earth in African culture

Clear guess is that Mufasa rally’s up the animals to fight whoever the villain is and they choose Mufasa as their king and Taka feels betrayed as he was supposed to be king.
