For those confused by the quote at the start, he didn't say "All wars are won where a single battle is fought" but rather "All wars are won BEFORE a single battle is fought." The meaning is that it's better to prepare beforehand than on the spot, at which point you'll be too overwhelmed to make good decisions.

I hate the gym but something I LOVE is skateboarding. I’ve been skating for a few months now and it’s super fun. The 4 times I’ve been to the gym I haven’t enjoyed at all

Education system in Greece sucks, am 12th grade and am forced (like every other kid) do hire tutors and do extra classes cause school is too useless to teach by itself. The result is 7hrs in class plus 3 in tutoring plus 2-3 doing homework (not revising homework) and my brain can't absorb any more information in that day

I need this I keep leaning everything for last minute. I do it well, I do it with passion but I’ve gotten accustomed to only doing this because I think it’s the only effective way. Or at least non-boring way. Fuck I do this because this is my only entertainment. Ngl commenting is like me journaling and I don’t like this habit of mine either.

Some of what this guy says makes me think he's never actually been a college student before. For example:

Study breaks??? Yeah right that's funny. There's barely enough time in the day as it is. In fact there isn't enough time in the day for the schoolwork I have to do. It goes into the night too. Speaking of which...

Sleep 8 That's hilarious. My roommate and I go to bed at around 4 am on average and then wake up at 8 for class at 10. A couple times this year, I got 1 hour of sleep. This is not because of procrastination. This is genuinely how long this stuff takes. We'll get back from classes at like 3 or 4 pm. Do work for a couple hours. Gym at 6. Dinner at 7. Then more work from 7:30 pm to 4 am. And sometimes we even have to skip the gym and still gotta stay up til the same time.

Mental health is important???? To be clear I completely agree with this statement, but thinking that I can do something about it is actually delusional. My school had to implement random days off called wellness days, because too many people unalived themselves and the school had to make the press think they care about their students. Me personally, I've been depressed for years. If I went to therapy, I would be spending time not doing homework. My main stressor is not being able to or not having time to do my homework. So why would I go spend $100 per hour to complain to a stranger about not having the time/ability to do my homework rather than just trying to do my homework while absolutely obliterating my mental and physical health in the process? There's actually no logical reason to choose the therapy option whatsoever. Talking about your problems doesn't fix them, trying to fix them fixes them (sometimes). But complaining never fixes anything. So therapy is a scam anyway but that's a whole topic we don't have to get into right now.

I won't be happy until I graduate from this horrid place and start making money. Then life will finally be worth living.
