The fact that they seem mad at the kid for not sitting in the house all alone unable to care for himself for an unknown amount of time is rage-inducing 😡 makes my blood boil thinking about how those two probably spoke afterwards and both thought “ugh he caused us so many problems” when it’s all their own fault!

He actually seems like a very smart, articulate little guy! He knew his dad’s name and said he knew the phone number and had a phone there but it’s dead. He even said he wanted them to go get his mom for him. Poor little guy. I feel so bad for him.

I love that the Grandma let the kids explain it to the police so they had a good interaction with cops. These kids next door are the real heroes for calling 911, so many other people could of but didn't.

My mother was like this. Left my 9 yr old sister in charge of my 7 month old brother years ago. My sister didn't know what to do when he cried for 7 hours straight and finally went to the neighbors house who called the police. My mother, to this day, still blames her for calling the police even though she "wasn't gone for long"

She's 21, he's 5. She has been putting him though this since she was 16 years old. This is how kids become thugs/criminals at age 13. This sick cycle has to stop!!

These two women sat there an tried to blame it on the child. “YOU said you didn’t want to go with me” and “if YOU wanted to go why didn’t YOU put your shoes on?”. Not taking any responsibility for what she did. Heartless.
