The major question is what if I have the idea of a website or app and I'll not code it. Instead, I want a company of coders to write the code for me. What guarantees me that they'll not steal my idea? Should I go for patent or anything?

Also I live in Canada, do I need to register a business license and trademark in Canada and The USA, if I intend to sell in both Countries?
