As far as i remember you can register a patent overseas through PCT treaty by chosing countries where you wish your patent should be registered. No need to go to each country. It is possible to cover several countries at once.

Great video, created a new limited company in UK and although you are based in states, many of the ideas you discuss applicable across the pond.

34:00 - Those cease & desist letters look scary af! You can make them look really formal and intimidating.
I'm only going to send those out only when necessary, people got enough to stress about in their lives as is.

You are a fantastic lecturer Cliff! Thoroughly enjoyed this lecture. I wanted to point out certain things I noted. The conditions that a trademark should not contain the likeness of a living person or a dead president is really humorous as you pointed out but I think the living person includes a living president and does this also mean that the likeness of a dead person who is not a president can be used? also in the Reid case (the sculptor) would it be a sound argument to say that because the idea for the bronze sculpture was from the homeless people charity organisation who merely solicited Reid's expertise, that Reid does not retain any copyrights to the art? I feel like the judgment did not do justice especially seeing that the organisation had asked Reid to amend the art. I also believe the judges should have applied the equitable maxim of equity will not suffer a wrong to go without a remedy to the advantage of the organisation.

Longevity of patents maybe were justified in the past, but now, when thins changes much faster, patents should last maximum 5 do 10 years, especially in medical and computer science departments
