Unfortunately SB you are correct. Those days are over. The cost of living has risen fostering people to pick up side gigs and hustles. Plus the demands of the workplace.

With Amazon and their favoritism culture and expectation of you can’t have any time off task, which is ultimately ridiculous. It’s a fantasy only because is poorly ran.

You can most definitely have a work balance and a life balance but when your job wants you to go over and beyond and expect no time off task is especially when you are in and going to have time off test the constant picking along with the low wages is horrible and not a good mix . They added horizons as a benefit to parents and we still have to pay for daycare, they’re only paying for the membership, which does nothing for the parents with kids. Target distribution offers up to $3000 of daycare assistance for their employees. Amazon needs to jump on board since they are projected to seat Walmart by the end of this year from what the articles are saying.

Is Amazon receiving new items daily and we have to put them up? At the same time people can return food items, diapers, cases of Fiji water, and anything else two tires. This unrealistic expectation of you’re not going to have time off task is automatically ridiculous.. this favoritism culture is destroying the culture itself and the workplace overall. I’ve been to over five warehouses and all them retailers, and they all struggle with the same thing, favoritism culture.

Amazon Amazon Amazon when you are working, you’re going to have time off because you are getting caught behind people that want to talk for 20 minutes, lab, , your pit might die in the middle of an aisle and then you have to call for help on your scanner, but at the same time You have the lazy people that can sit and talk to the problem solver standing right next to the supervisor for 30 minutes and the supervisor won’t say nothing to them while you are busting your balls. Every single warehouse always hard work and this is not going to be well for the next generation and that’s why the next generation feels that they don’t have to work because all these workplaces have one thing in common come they favorite the people day, not the ones that work and do their job. They don’t leave those people alone, they pick on those people, and caused them extra mental and emotional stress. These people are parents and working hard to provide food on the table for their children and they may be the only parent. Amazon is becoming a very destructive environment and I’ve been here only two months I’ve heard about Amazon being automatically disgusting.
