The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. I hate this episode for so many reason 😭😭 all the girls were put under a tremendous amount of pressure, Maddie and Chloe were both being manipulated, Paige was constantly told she weren’t good enough but she was amazing !! This episode is just heartbreaking 💔

Maddie saying “apparently not anymore” was heartbreaking; you could tell how her and Chloe both felt terrible and Maddie even cried. It is so cruel how they were manipulated into not being friends anymore. This is probably the worst episode of dance moms imo

As much as this episode frustrates me. Every time I watch Paige and Chloe’s duet it makes me tear up tbh. Even though it might have not been as seamless as Maddie and Kalanis, it shows so much power and trust and emotion and just :’) It’s such a shame such a great dance had to be wasted on the week that broke Dance Moms

I love how when christi said “know who your friends are” kenzie stoop up for maddie and said “maddie is her friend” makenzie is a good sister.

I just rewatched this episode and realized Melissa was anxious. She wasn’t happy or excited like we are made to believe, she was scared, anxious, and worried about just how far the producers were about to push the cast. She even says “I really don’t like this.” Makes me feel horrible for everyone even more.

I love how Christi says “I was not looking, I was over this way” even though she was obviously watching as she knew that she needed to have Kelly’s back and because of that she claimed she has clueless on the situation. Love their friendship.

All of this could’ve been avoided had Abby just told everyone she was entering in the duet from the beginning, had Kelly and Christi not said Maddie lied which was the big ordeal that came from this episode, had Abby not provoked Kelly and Kelly not have lost control all in front of the children. This was when dance moms went down the tube; the lawsuits and drama that came after this made watching dance moms so insufferable to watch. The dances did get better though.

this episode makes me so sad. paige and brooke were such beautiful dancers, it’s so sad that they lost their passion cause by her own DANCE TEACHER. :(

This episode really shows how true of a friend Mellisa can be. The way she wanted Two Sapphires to be an exhibition, and not put in to be judged shows how much faith she had in Paige and Chloe to win with their duets

This was so sad. The way Maddie’s voice cracked saying “Apparently not…anymore” was so sad and the way she tried to hide her tears was even worse

This all could've been avoided if Abby just told everybody that she was entering the duet. Christi, Kelly, Mellisa, Chloe, Paige, and Maddie all got manipulated and there was miscommunication. It just goes to show Abby didn't believe in Paige or Chloe for the duet to win.

This episode is still one of the saddest episodes to date. I don't think Melissa gets enough credit for trying to convince Abby to not let the two duets go against each other. Abby cursed at Brooke for nor reason yet she expects Kelly not to say anything lol? The duet between Maddie and Kalani should not have been a secret to begin with. I love the pink costumes in the group dance though.

i still don’t get why abby put so much pressure on maddie and kalani to keep that duet a secret. that secret ruined so many things. it ruined chloe’s trust in maddie, it ruined kelly’s relationship with abby, it ruined brooke and paige, it ruined what those kids once knew as love and care. it ruined trust. that’s never okay.

The saddest part was when Kelly and Abby were fighting and then Maddie said “I’m sorry”

If Abby had not brought Kalani into the room and started glorifying her while ripping on Brooke, it wouldn't have escalated into a fight.

Hearing Maddie saying “i’m sorry..” as if it’s all her fault really hurt tbh. They made it seem as Maddie caused ALL of this when in reality, they should’ve been mad at Abby instead of Melissa.
