I think everyone forgets or just doesn’t even know that Maddie herself has talked about how she hated that her friends and her sister were compared to her. Melissa has also talked about how she would’ve done things differently

I don’t blame Christi for feeling the way that she does. Abby put all of her eggs in one basket, and did it pay off for her in the end? Maddie revealed that she did not speak to Abby after her departure in Season 6. Christi predicted it here. Abby treated Cholé very poorly in comparison to Maddie and it shows on her face.

No because all of those children are stuck with trauma including Maddie.

1. Maddie-Always expected to be perfect and if she doesn’t do as she is asked she’s suddenly a “brat” and not perfect anymore.

2. Nia- Her chances are always taken away and when she FINALLY has one, it’s always ruined or taken away.

3. Chole-Always compared to maddie and is given an unfair shot to win.

4. Mackenzie-The baby of the group or “Maddie’s sister.” They never knew Mackenzie is was always Maddie’s sister.

5. Brooke-The oldest of the group and Abby always said she lost her talent. Maybe she lost her PASSION to dance.

6. Paige-Has mental issues and always yelled at and always underestimated.

it makes me sad that people don’t realize maddie is also a victim. just because you are an abuser’s favorite does not mean you have it easy. christi says that abby had told maddie “no one would be happy for you, everyone will be jealous of you” whenever talking about drop dead diva. maddie also did have to deal with the pressure of always winning and because abby held maddie in such high regard, maddie would be afraid of letting her down. whenever maddie forgot her solo, she was begging producers and staff to let her go again or else abby would hate her. comparing people to her would make her teammates resentful . maddie and chloe were also manipulated by almost all the adults to stop being friends, and abby even says that maddie and chloe were SUPER close and best friends. luckily chloe and maddie reunited and they’re actually friends now, but abby stole every single chance those girls had of being kids, including maddie.

People always bag on Christi for being the most outspoken on the favoritism out of all the moms but I dont think a lot of people realize Chloe was the girl who was always the pawn in making Maddie look better both by Abby and the Producers. From the very beginning the show fed off their rivalry but did no justices in showing how much things were in Maddie and Melissa’s favor. Christi had to deal with 4 years of her daughter’s confidence dwindling and being used for television while losing a friendship with someone she’s grown up with I’d be very overprotective as well

It's clear in every situation where Maddie is given preferential treatment that Melissa is willing to sit by and do or say anything she needs to as long as it benefits her and her daughter's career (not her daughter)

I feel badly for Chloe and the other girls that Abby would blatantly favor Maddie over the other girls! But I do love that even though Chloe forgot a part of her solo while the Joffrey scout was there, but she was offered a ballet scholarship for the Summer Program at the Joffrey. 💗
