Gonna take this a step further: i think LP is doing this concert, coming back, and announcing that each song on their next album will feature different vocalists. And when they tour they'll be doing guest vocals for everything. Mike spent several months touring the world just jamming with musicians he liked, and I think he was testing to see if he could put together a roster of different singers.

LP was always experimental and I think they want to lean into it super hard now.

Chester said in an interview that the name Minutes To Midnight was inspired by a doomsday clock that moves "back and forth" and how the concept of midnight could be the "end of all time" or a "new beginning for the band"

Either after 100 hours or on 5th of September we’ll get the reveal of the new era of Linkin Park. I think the count back up is like “new chapter, start again, new beginnings etc”. There’s a lot of glitching with 9 and 5 so I think it makes sense
