The new lead singer of Lincoln Park has just been announced and fans are split 5050. It's always tough when the lead singer of a big band like Lincoln Park passes away, but Emily Armstrong will be taken up the reins from Chester Bennington who passed away a couple of years back. The new singer is definitely a change of pace but still has the same kind of sound that does match Lincoln Park. It's a very bold move to bring it somebody new and continue the band, but I definitely give them props for that. It's always tough and it's hard to figure out whether you want to continue it or if you want to go back and it seems like fans are kind of split 5050 some really like the sound and feel like it really matches. Some are still very skeptical that she'll be able to fill the role that Chester had beforehand. But after listening to a few songs, I think she does have the sound of it. The new song is amazing, the songs that had Chester she is kinda hit or miss. I'll have to listen to the next album to really know how I feel about her, but so far, she is definitely a solid 8/10. That's my opinion anyway.

She is something different and she's doing a great job. I loved Chester, but it doesn't mean that Chester was the band. It's a combination of all of them and they all work so hard to give us this music, pouring their essence and souls into it. She looks like she has passion and that she loves what she's doing. I'm glad she stepped up as a lead singer and I'm happy that they still make music because the vibes they manage to give me is helping me out a lot with my negative emotions. I hope they continue to do music.
