WARNING! Is Amazon Hiding Your Books? (MUST WATCH!)

You read that right. There’s a chance that Amazon is actually hiding your books from your potential readers.

Preventing your books from being seen by the thousands of browsing customers on Amazon.

Now before we get all conspiracy theory, let me explain to you how this may be happening and what you can do see if your books are being hidden.

You know when you upload your book to Amazon KDP? When you get to toward the middle of the first tab, you hit the section that says categories. There you can select up to 3 relevant categories that you assign your book or ebook to.

These categories correlate to the exact browsing categories that are on Amazon.

Here's the issue: Not all those categories are visible on Amazon anymore.

Crazy right?

How can this happen? KDP is owned by Amazon. So how can there be a category in Amazon KDP categories option that’s no longer available on Amazon?

Very interesting. Sometimes I pick 3 categories and then a book may take off a little bit or at least have a solid launch, and then I notice it ranks well momentarily in a category that is neither one that I picked nor a parent category. Do you know why that might be?
