I almost cried as I started going through this list. My Mother was an RN and her father raised her by himself when his wife died when their daughter was about 8. He was middle aged during the Depression and told me many stories. Mother had a nice reference library that she continually worked to build. I had given her several copies of Foxfire books but not the ones you have here. Ty! She had medical books including her old nursing books. I used to spend summer vacations reading Mercks. Plant books, sewing, she tried to have a variety. You have given us a precious present that is invaluable. I can picture them both smiling.

I’d put 100 thumbs up on this resource if I could…

9 minutes 39 seconds and in that time you have essentially communicated a massive library of knowledge. Outstanding.

Very important to have. Digital Prepper approved lol 😉. Seriously though, just be sure to have backups, and backups of those backups. You never know what's going to happen. Stay safe and stay prepared guys.

I've been collecting prepper books and other skills books for over a decade. Having gone thru them, I picked my 3 favorites to take. After that I picked the next 3 favorites x 2 and positioned them with my 2 grown children. Like Thomas Jefferson I cannot live without books. GOOD VIDEO. THANKS.

You could also get a second hand kindle and a small mobile solar charger, that would suit better if you get stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Keep in mind that hard drives have an average lifespan of 10 years before they start losing data so if you want to be extra safe use M-discs as they can last indefinitely as long as they aren't physically damaged.

We homeschool, we will be including many of these resources into our curriculum. Thank you! 😊

That is great! I keep a notebook with things I read and hear from you and others from YouTube about survival methods.

There is one issue and that is the USB sticks. I have many that have failed. In some cases, the USB was left in a shirt pocket that went in the wash. The point is that the USB is far from reliable; it doesn't matter the brand. The library idea is great. USB drives in general can be less than reliable and if you are depending on that for all of your information it could be bad. There are several people that have recommended printing some pages or keeping a notebook of critical information that you may not be able to keep in your head. Great information here thank you for making it available.

Awesome! Being new to prepping, I never would have thought about a Prepper Library. Can certainly see it as a valuable resource. 😁

Thank you so much for this library. I truly appreciate all the time and effort you have put into our community. Whenever I have questions, I always search yours, Alaska Prepper and Urban Prepper's videos first. My questions are usually answered in the videos I find on your channels. I can never thank you enough for all that you do. I feel so much better prepared with all of the knowledge you share. I can't wait to share this video on my channel. ❤❤❤❤❤

This is why I always preach to people with alternative living.. that we need to learn to go back to basics and live more Simple Life.. unless depended on technology that's what I'm working on.. these are the reasons why I became a minimalist and small and simple..

Perfect idea. Snag your hard cover copies at thrift stores and amazon 2nd hand. Practically new books. Add a good power brick to access your virtual library kris spoke about. Great video!

We print and set up a binder system so if we lose power we have a paper copy of the most important information. We have generator but in prolong grid down your batteries won’t last on computer and phone so paper copy is always best

I have tens of thousands of books with an emphasis of starting from scratch. I manage them using Calibre and back them up into a raspberry pi zero running calibre-web and acting as a wifi access point. I can connect to it using my phone or any browser or ebook reader that uses opds catalogs and browse for books on any subject. Any 5v solar charger will power the thing and it's all stored in a sealed tin when not being updated. $50 for the lot. Always happy to add more as there's so much to know.

Thank you so much! This is great and a highlight of my day. It's very important to have things printed out such as maps how to bake bread and other types of food without electricity, etc. So grateful for you putting this out.🙏
