I discovered the album 1492 when I was 18 years old in 1994 and it changed my life. My favourite music is heavy metal but this was the most amazing thing I’ve ever heard. I still listen to it very regularly

Bela melodia! Deve ter sido fantástico viver na pele dos colonizadores nessa grande aventura. Porém foi terrível para os povos nativos. Para nós só restou escravidão, exploração, destruição da natureza e da nossa cultura. A cena final, da construção da Igreja europeia, Ignorando completamente a religião e cultura dos nativos mostra essa visão estúpida eurocêntrica presente até hoje.
