This music is a MasterPiece. Vangelis took some gregorian chants, with a minor eolian melodie... And turned them into a major, maybe jonian progresion, exploding in fanfarre, with french horns in The style of Mahler and Wagner, and some war drums. Y think this symbolizes a transition, between dark Middle Ages, and the forecomimg of humanism, wich i think is also the most important symbol in the movie... also a MasterPiece by Ridley Scott and all his cast of actors and cinematographers. Hope to see that in a cinema one day. You'll be remembered maestro Vangelis. Thanks for this beautyfull piece of art.
