Steps To Fix An Unresponsive Touchscreen On Your Car Stereo -- ViaBecs

Is your car radio also having the same problems with the touch screen not working?

Problem 1: Unresponsiveness
Problem 2: Suddenly its touch stopped working. I can't use the touch screen it won't respond.

METHOD-1
Don't worry about that you can fix it by yourself.
Follow these simple steps.

1) hold your five fingers onto the display in 2 or 3 seconds

2) then there is a pop-up window open

3) The four glowing icons will be displayed in the four corners of the touch screen. Please click the 1,2,3,4 in turn.

4) After following these all steps your touch screen is working fine.

METHOD-2
1) If the touchscreen won't respond, you can connect the USB mouse with a USB cable first. and then you can choose the option on the radio.
2) Then Click the Car setting -- factory setting -- password is 8888 -- Touch Setting
3) The four glowing icons will be displayed in the four corners of the touch screen. Please click the 1,2,3,4 in turn.

The methods didn't work for my HU but using their mouse idea, I managed to reboot and now my HU touchscreen is working like normal again! Thank you for the inspiration 🙏

Just got a car and the deck had no touch, googled how to fix, this showed up first and I went out tried method 2 worked. was making me so mad to have to only use a mouse lol, thank you !!!

Okay, so I do not get anything out of this video because there isn't any audio. I am not being rude. My setting button is on the right hand side. Nothing at all works on the right hand side. I just got this car 2 weeks ago so I know nothing about it. Other than I absolutely hate nissan's now

Thank you much you have no idea I got into an argument with my spouse over the screen not working after I installed it back into the frame because it was unbalanced. He blamed me saying I broke it and we got into a big argument considering he's an narcissist and I would've gotten blamed for it regardless if it was my doing it not and instead of him googling how to fix it I did and the first method worked IMMEDIATELY 😅😅 THANK YOU SO SO MUCH

my screen is totally unresponsive, i plugged a mouse in and it helped hopeful but it says it doesnt support it, and nothing happens other than the mouse will light up

I've got a pumpkim navigation and only right side of touch screen is working for example you want to press number 1, 2 or 3 on radio it doesn't respond or in navigation is the same thing, do you have any solution? Thanx

CAN YOU HELP ME !!! I am at my wits end. I purchased a very expensive head unit for my 2011 Ford Mustang made by Raxiom from the company American Muscle which sells after market parts for Ford Mustang. I paid $700 for this piece of junk. I contacted American Muscle and they are of no use. The unit work about 2 yrs and the car is very low mileage and hardly used. The screen started slowly to only allow some screen buttons . Now I cannot change the time of tone or GPS I have to use the sync system that is factory to the car to play music through my phone. I even went to BEST BUY they know nothing. What can I do to fix this before I have to buy a whole new unit? CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE
