yeah it aint happening.
somehow planet liberation feels bugged/impossible compared to HD1, in HD1 you see sectors being won or lost daily, in 2 it feels like nothing is happening alot of the time and that the players cant really push back the enemies at all

I think we need more players from the terminid front, sure you can farm samples much more easily but imo, the bots are, as of right now, a far bigger threat than the bugs

What stops me from playing automaton planets often is the constant ragdolling from rocket spam. I like being able to actually play the game, instead of getting tossed around like a sack of potatoes from infinite rockets that I can’t even fight back against. It’s infuriating, and really discourages me from fighting automatons more. With bugs, at least you have a chance to kill the annoying hunters before they get close to you.

I think most people like to play against bugs more than Automatons, since bugs are much easier to play against.

Random tip : the hmg emplacement can kill hulks and factory striders, just aim for the eyes and they drop like flies ;) the emancipator mech also can kill striders fast, just have to aim for the eye. ( Probably disable the canon first thou)

I've got an idea that may be worthwhile. A while back, EA with Battlefield 4 and Battlefield hardline put out an app called Battle Commander. It allowed people using mobile devices to connect to matches and provide tactical support to the team. I love this game, even though I haven't actually played it yet. If they brought something like that to mobile or switch, I would definitely do my part.

The stratagem trick i do is drop 4x supply pods when i call in supplies

I think the devs should give an incentive to divers who play on only major order maps. for example, 20% more samples and meddles, bonus stratagems, maybe even super credits. make it more enticing to do these major orders so that the ones who don't like playing against bots feel more rewarded for doing so

If Major Orders are supposed to be failed, then the devs are setting the players up for failure. Joel is that DM who undoes player agency for no good reason. As someone who played D&D under a DM like that, I can say with certainty that there is no faster way to anger your players than to make their work pointless by stacking the deck against them and then invalidating their hard work anyway

You gotta contribute to help the major order. I agree on this. Also, the SEAF rounds you can move faster if you tap sprint and then drop the round. You move the round much faster this way.

From my PoV it's just that Gunships are way too opressive.
They were somewhat manageable when they were bound to the gunship factories but now that they appear in regular patrols, it feels even harder to fight the bots. Not to mention that while Screechers can be downed by light weapons, gunships require much more accuracy and firepower to bring down. Of course not mentioning how much they ragdoll you with the rocket salvo which usually knocks you out of cover, into patrols or even mines.

Am I the only one who thinks we could get a New type of FTL jump. Like that you could go to any Planet, in any sector you want without needing to liberate a Planet.

If you don't unlock the console for SEAF Artillery until you have the ammo by the gun, it seems like less enemies spawn while you load,

If the MO fails I could complain all day about the 30% of players who never switch fronts. More realistically I think is that the bots need their mechnics tuned down because fighting them just isn't fun sometimes. AH needs to remove random critical hits from both sides and reduce the flinching on head shots or give a resistance for subsequent hits. Can't tell you how many times I've been chained to death just because the bots got me 3 or more times in the head. Also they need to rework stagger for hitting the bots with more durable heads, it feels like you can't flinch or stagger them when you're delivering the fire.

there is another shell movment thing that is tap the weapons swapright as you drop the shell and he will fling the shell and you can run to it and pick it up and fling it again

there needs to be some incentive for major orders to be done besides the warbonds youll MAYBE get at the end. maybe a requisition slip bonus? more samples per map? idfk
