Throughout this video, we are going to summarizing the different variables we have mentioned through our studies of nucleophilic substitution and beta elimination reactions - SN1, SN2,E1, and E2. We will be diving into the details behind protic and aprotic solvents, the different factors that influence nucleophilic strength, what determines a good leaving group, and other factors such as basicity. We will be analyzing all these topics together to be able to determine the major pathway of either nucleophilic substitution or beta elimination based on specific conditions and reagents.
