I m 38 divorced from mumbai. My wife used my body, my money n drained me emotionally. Daily arguments, no work at home, no respect, no financial contribution, no true love and threat me every day and doubts on me and had eye on my money and property.
Best solution is to stop marriage, no kids and stay stress free life with lovely pets and parents. kids after some age don't stay with parents to look after in old age.

I I think the best way to deal with this is to carry on and move ahead with acceptability, not be too hard to yourself.

Those who don't KNOW EQ Meaning :-

DEFINE
Your emotional quotient (EQ) generally refers to your ability to sense emotion in yourself and in other people. It also refers to how you use that awareness to guide your behavior.

I have been in a relationship with a guy for like 5 yrs ( long distance ) now...and i was his friend for 9 yrs. I love an excellent quality in him...and i think that made us sail through a lot of misunderstandings..

Never never take or carry grudge. Ppl fight. We both say bad things to each other in anger. But we try to speak after calming down. And once fight is sorted...he always lightens my mood by cracking some joke. And next day he will again be normal and sweet. He never holds on to past fights. Never. Never reminds me about them.
We both know that how much big the fight is...or issue is...within few hours we will be fine. There is no way we are gonna break apart or extend it. No matter what it will end in a good note. So we are comfortable sharing whatever we want...and being open.

I think ego is the real culprit, if you depress your regret and whatever situation you encounter try to sooth it. I think never ever criticize your partner. If you could dissuade any acrimonious situation either by remaining mum and riding on your ego's exacerbate the situation, avoid it.
Divorcing and contemplating to marry someone else will be a better choice is only a fancy. Unless and until you eliminate ego from your system you will be a failure again. Buzz word is avoid toxicity in relation love will prevail. Be happy , be forgive.
