Just purchased one (April 2022) and wow!!! what a great Camera for its age! love the natural colours straight out of the Camera and the balanced sharpness

Shortcoming: the auto WB is sometimes off. Especially cloudy. So I use it in manual WB, mostly in 'sunny'.
I definitely like using AF-D lenses on the D90. A 1.8/50mm acts like a 75 mm portrait lens and it performs like a 1.8 lens for the bokeh. Even 'not so good' FX lenses are fine since we only use the center part of the lens. So light fall off in the corners (vignetting) is very rare.

I'm afraid, my friend you are incorrect on two counts: Firstly the D90 is not a professional camera it is what is known as a Prosumer camera. Granted it could be used professionally but it isn't a professional camera. Secondly, I own the D90 and I have never yet managed to get 700-800 shots on a full battery. 400 maybe, but not 70-800. Other than that everything you said in your review is correct, and it is a wonderful camera. I love mine and will never part with it.
