This is awesome!! I’m so glad I found your website and YT channel. You explain things very clearly, which I really appreciate because with something as deceptively simple as crocheting it’s easy to get turned around and confused while following a pattern. You also keep things short and sweet, which is lovely because I often have to pull up tutorials more than once to double check I’m doing something correctly. That is tough to do if the video is 30 minutes long and saddled with ad breaks every five minutes, haha. Foundation single crochet was a little tricky when I tried it out but I think I figured out what I didn’t do correctly.

I think I made my chain at the bottom too tight.

I did the 28 start a chain, however I ended up at 11 inches not eight. Obviously I need tighter stitches or a smaller hook!

Would just doing your chain line, and then your first row single crochet not be the same thing and easier?
