As always, you have a way of explaining a technique that really EXPLAINS it. I finally get it: start your stitch, make the base chain for it, then complete the stitch. I switched to foundation chains years I will never go back!!! I wish more designers would write patterns this way. Thank you for helping the community learn this great technique. Newer crocheters would attempt more patterns once they learn this.
