I don't know if "it's rightfully so" for them to take you up on an offer that was made quite a while ago. It's a lot like asking to be put into a giveaway that already has a winner. It's a little- a lot crazy- for others to think that people will maintain the same amount of free time all the time. That doesn't make any sense to me. But I'm glad that you're able to deal with it still.
