How to use the PASSÉ COMPOSÉ with NEGATION and in QUESTIONS // French conjugation course // Lesson26

Using the passé composé with negation or in questions can seem intimidating with the number of words and the order, especially for reflexive verbs.
Here is how to build the passé composé with the negation:
- Ne / N' + être / avoir + pas + past participle
If the verb is reflexive with have:
- Ne + reflexive pronoun + être + pas + past participle
