Electric shocks!!!

The goal of this electricity challenge video is to combine language learning with fun... Of course we don't use electric shocks in our real classes... but we do like to have fun during our classes!

I don't know the rules of 'de' and 'het', it just always comes natural to me. And I think to a lot of other dutchies as well. So even I learned something today!

I'm dutch and don't even know the rules of when the use De, and when to use Het.

I’m always curious why native speaker just knows without having to memorising everything like this, especially if you think about a language such as German where there are Die, Der and Das.
It is fascinating to me as a Chinese where we native speakers literally have to memorise the pronunciation of every character as the writing doesn’t reflect the pronunciation at all.
