Fun fact: while Chomp looks slow in the footage, its top speed has apparently been described as "brisk jogging pace". Imagine that 200 kg monster chasing you down a hallway.

I like these bots, because they represent a nice, fresh alternative to the same old vertical/horizontal spinner/lawnmover design.

Mammoth is an underrated robot in my opinion. It’s always fun to watch, whether it’s throwing other robots or throwing itself around the arena

Huge is obviously by far the most successful of these three, given their runner-up finish last season. And yet... Mammoth absolutely swatted them, because it was the perfect counter-design.
That's the beauty of robot combat. It's a giant game of rock paper scissors, with everything weak against something. Sometimes, you just have to trust in the luck of the draw.

I do missed Chomp though, I wish it came back in the future.

They should make battlebots where the bots are the size of ATVs and golf Carts.

Chomp doing his little walk is cute, even if that thing can obliterate my head like a watermelon with its hammer.

If Chomp were to come back, I hope they ditch the AI tracking software, as it seems to make them misfire at times, but I'd understand if they don't because it's... kind of their thing, but being a full on walker instead of a shuffler like say... Dreadbot from Season 3.0 to 5.0, which is still one of my favourite shufflers to this date, the fact that all the legs of Chomp were individually articulated and powered by compressed gas means it's one of the few true walkers that actually worked and won a fight which is incredible.

HUGE is... well, HUGE. Big wheels, big weapon, big ol' eyes- wait, that's just aesthetics... Either way, their latest run, getting to Runner Up was a phenomenal leap and bound from their previous season, but seeing Bronco run away from them was hilarious... but also kinda sad, especially when it's combat robotics, not "Oh no, run away" robotics... I get trying to preserve the bot, but you could've done a lot more to combat a bot like that, lol.

And Mammoth is essentially a daddy long legs that'd swat you if you tried to swat it. Seeing it knock out Axe Backwards like that reminded me of how it knocked HUGE out in a similar way, it's a really unique bot that shows you don't really need a blade spinning at the same tip speed and inertia of a 50 cal. to cause absolute havoc.

One small but advanced way to make the robot a legend from my point of view is that, if a team can develop an IR frequency detector and changing machine which the benefit is that, the way you transmit the signal in an increased or decreased manner from a signal transmitting antena from the robot, the opponent robot signals will get distracted which will make it easy to defeat it. All tha very best teams.

lol! Me, thinking: "Ok, they gotta feature Mammoth ... and they'll likely show Mammoth taking a W, right? But .. who did Mammoth ever convincingly beat? Did it ever fight Ghost Raptor? Or Axe Ba... ah, yeah, of course they beat Axe Backwards."

with a better arena, with more space between the edge and the protective audience walls, Mammoth would be incredible
