Data management: How to optimize the storage of variables

This video demonstrates how to optimize the storage of variables. We would like to store our variables with maximum precision, but we do not want to waste memory. The *compress* command compares the data stored in a variable with the storage type of the variable and will optimize the storage type based on the data.
