i want to move to puerto rico because the state i live in rn doesnt have my culture. my mom agreed to move to puerto rico or florida, but since its too expensive theres a chance we might not be able to. im surrounded with people who dont understand my culture, theres no puerto rican food anywhere near where i live, and theres only one other puerto rican in my school. it’s frustrating being who i am and not having anybody or anywhere other than my family and their homes. i miss being able to walk outside and get my food, to walk down the street and talk to my people, i miss it so bad. i hope my parents find a cheaper home so i can finally be with my people, in my home, on my island.

If you want to live in Puerto Rico it's important to remember that English is not widely spoken in PR.

While it's true English and Spanish are both official languages in PR, most natives do not speak English well. This is even more true the farther you go from the large cities of PR.

If you want to work in PR you most likely will need to be fluent in Spanish.

I heard that in Puerto Rico some people still practice cannibalism. Don't waste your money in a place ruined by hurricanes. Go invest in Virginia good prices.
