Just got my iPad Pro 9.7" 128 GB Rose Gold. I got this because of pencil and keyboard support and because how portable yet powerful it is. I thought to get the Surface 3 ( not the pro), I went the MS Store and checked it out. The desktop OS was very heavy. I spent an hour checking and testing a couple of them there in the store, but they were not for me. Windows on Atom chip is not worth and it was very heavy and not portable.

Spot the Bulgarian accent :) Nevertheless, thanks for the comparison. I currently have iPad Air 1 and think about an upgrade, because it became very slow after iOS9. I know the PRO software isn't there yet, but the smart keyboard and the pencil are very desirable :) The 12.9" is huge and I just recently got the 12" MacBook, so no need for another 12" device. The 9.7" is better in almost every aspect from my point of view, but the lack of usb 3.0 support stops me. I do photography and 42mp files + 4K video takes a lot of time to transfer from the card to my current iPad. What do you think - should I wait or upgrade :)

I was debating on buying iPad Pro 9.7 inch but due to lack of RAM I decided to go for the bigger iPad Pro I think when it comes down to it the bigger iPad Pro well last longer what I mean by this is receive more updates thanks to the four gigs of RAM

with 3Gb of ram the 9.7 would be perfect and it were still less than the 4Gb on the 12.9, if that's that what apple wanted.

I don't understand apple's approach to the "PRO" versions. Do you want a tablet? Go for the iPAd air 2...best choice now

Have u seen how much the camera sticks out, and the resolution is WAY worse on the 9.7 compared to the 12.9
