Owning the iPad Pro 9.7 for two weeks now, I can recommend it.
It's my first iPad or Tablet and I like the experience. It is perfect for watching videos, hearing music while cooking and other app-based workings.
Display and sound is great!

I still use my Laptop mainly for working on the internet, but with the Apple Pencil and Procreate I started to learn drawing, which I enjoy very much and my girlfriend, too.

If you don't draw or don't want to take handwritten notes, it's perhaps not the "very necessary must have product", but it complements my daily work flow reasonable and very comfortable.

Hmm, iPad Pro 9.7 looks like a little better because of the camera and it special true tone, but I have the 12.9 and I still like it.

No faster charging, what a shame but at least it doesn't take as long to charge like the bigger iPad pro. I'm going to wait for the next generation iPad then. I currently have the iPad Air 1 and I've been looking for an upgrade because that 2gb of ram could be very helpful

Got the 12.9inch on launch, and whilst I do love it, it's just that little bit too big to use as a tablet. I miss being able to quickly use the iOS keyboard. Really undecided whether to upgrade/downgrade to this one, I love everything about it (even the smaller keyboard!) besides Split Screen apps. Going from using split screen which is essentially two 9.7inch screens side by side is quite a drop. Any advice appreciated!
