Arena WILL NOT be going live early, but willl be brough live at the same time as regular Tarkov.

There was just an annoucement that Arena Servers will open simultaneously with base game. Unfortunately you will not be able to get a headstart by playing Arena.

I feel like its a good idea to get people on arena, I already installed it for the first time to play for a bit on wipe before this was announced just because I hate ground zero on wipe as its directly prime time for my timezone. It will already take hours to get the basic quests done.
But also I feel like the actual patch time for tarkov wont be 8 hours and this is also going to help take some stress off actual tarkov servers.

They said that Arena installation will be extended to release them simultaneously.

i was planning on playing arena first anyways so this just makes that easier, as of today dailies and weekly are available at level 1 in arena, so his level 10 estimate using the xp that those dailies give right now is conservative i would say

Overall it's not a big deal. Few lvls (depends of exp gain after wipe), bunch of skills and money.
But it;s a bit unfair and they just should release both Arena and EFT at the same time.

I do own EoD, so i got access to Arena, but i like when things are fair. Like they been saying since always "that everything will be obtainable via playing" then added Unheared and "pay to unlock" features from which they finally resign.

im pretty sure the leveling boost from arena might only be helpful for getting flea early, unless they change ref again then there might be a balance issue

also worth noting that last hero i believe is better xp per hour unless you are just stomping the 5v5 games

Imagine grinding for hundreds of painful hours only for the game to reset your whole profile every six or so months so you can do it all again, I love tarkov
