These S shaped paths above the ghost cage, Ghosts can't go up (Exept when they turn blue) that means if the ghosts following you around and go upward on these S shaped paths that means your'e safe ghost can't go there! However if the ghost take the downward path they can move down and start following you!!

My favorite is definitely the arcade version although thats pretty much the most predictable statement you'll ever hear. Besides that though I actually like the Atari 2600 version of the game...

Now put down your pirtchforks and listen for a second! Sure it might not be the best playing game in the world and it may have been a flawed port of the game, but it's just charming. Everything from it's sound effects, graphics, marketing, and gameplay makes this the most noteworthy port of the game and definitely the most unique.
