Eating All Ghosts in almost All Pac-Man Versions

I find it very satisfying to eat all four ghosts in a row after picking up a Power Pellet / Energizer in Pac-Man, so I thought it was a good idea to show how I do it in almost all of its official and non-emulated versions. It has been a very hard work, so I hope you like and share this video.

There was 2 problems with the SFX on both of the VIC-20 versions 🙁 but the others were still normal from the original versions comparison. And another thing to hear is that I did NOT know there was an NEC-PC 8001mkll SR version! It was shocking when I noticed 🤯 By the way, it was interesting to see all the different Pac-Mans eating the ghosts.

Great job. 👍 I agree completely that it is quite satisfying to catch all four of the little buggers in quick succession.

Fond memories of the MSX hacked version named "Oh Shit!".

The SNES version has my favourite sound effects of the bunch. That system was definitely capable of some high-quality audio.

i really like that video, it's kind of a redux of your pac-man versions video !

keep up the good work, pal!

For the VIC-20, Atari should've used HAL's Japanese version instead of making another one. While there's lots of ghost flicker, it's an accurate port with the right maze layout.

0:47 OMG! HAL Laboratory before Kirby and Smash Bros. they made games on the VIC-20, but this is a Japanese company and they created games for the computer from the west, I don’t know about the VIC-20 in Japan, but I heard that the C64 was in Japan but it sold too badly that in the same 1982 they stopped selling it!

Im surprised with the jerky animation on ZX. I know they cant move he colour attributes smoothy, so they should go with smooth anim and some attribute clashes instead.

that one sharp mz 700 port is pretty strange, the sprites are literal blocks, and the zx spectrums sound is weirdly satisfying to hear, the popping sound gives me a bit of a massaging effect, could be me tho, i hear a lot that its the worst home version of pac man, but for me, i guess it works, and you can say that its better than the tabletop versions lmao

Where did you get the Roms for the Sharp-MZ and NEC-PC series of ports? I can't seem to find them anywhere, not even the Internet Archive. That question aside, this is a great video! Love it!
