Having MS, I experience so many physical issues especially digestion and constipation when eating fruits and vegetables. I have tried many times to reintroduce them and it fails each and every time. Not even counting the inflammation and glucose spikes and eventually raising my fasting glucose too. Brings back MS symptoms as well.
Grains even worse. It's too bad, as I use to love them. But the pain and sickness over time is not worth it.

Weight watchers told my mom she could eat unlimited fruit. I tried telling her it's all sugar. She's still fat!

Excellent argument against fruit being good for people or the planet. I became intolerant of at least eighteen different plant foods, mostly vegetables, before I finally went carnivore. Great video!

My goodness I think about the fruit 🍉 I use to eat. I thought I was being so healthy. I thought granola and oatmeal was healthy. 😅

AS a young adult, I grew up with "5 a Day" fruits and veggies, courtesy of the US gov't. I'm currently carnivore (with occasional restaurant related Ketovore excursions). It works for me and much of what I believed for decades doesn't seem to hold true. Each person has to find the diet that works for them (sadly, by trial and error) but when they do, it's outstanding on the other side of the effort.

my body really asks me for veggies and salad every day, as well as animal products. I love their fresh flavour and textures. However, I worry that commercially produced, especially intensively produced veg are not actually as healthy as traditionally grown veg.

I’ve found I feel and perform exponentially better when I do the opposite of what the “experts” recommend. Meat and fat>>>fruits and vegetables.

I'm pro meat but I gotta admit something....when I eat all meat diet, my turds are harder to pump out...I find it easier when I've eaten pasta, veggies, brown bread, oatmeal.

Sorry, fruits and veggies are not the enemy. Of course there are outliers with sensitivity issues, but if you're going to pick a fight, choose to demonize hyper-processed foods. Attacking fruits and veggies is just going to drive a wedge into your movement. It's a numbers game. The total number of people who are going to go strict carnivore is very minimal, but I think if you pushed more of a whole foods diet with a focus on meat as the main source of calories, you'd get 10x the traction. Seriously, who's more likely to get diabetes or become obese...someone who eats a diet of 100% unprocessed food, including fruits and veggies, or someone who eats fast food and drinks soda everyday? Focus on the real culprit.

As an ex-vegetarian of over 20 years who switched to carnivore, I say Try It and keep an open mind and observe your body and energy and for me, that was so positive, way more than I guessed it would be. Why not for others?
