Oh, he's also secretly rich but lives a minimalist lifestyle and Penelope only finds out when someone puts her into trouble and he has to use his money and status to save her while looking embarrassed about being rich.

He also eats nothing but frozen pizza and drinks nothing but beer (he never gets drunk or gains weight though), but takes Penelope to Paris for their first date and serves her 5k dollars worth of wine, but does it on a picnic and not at some five star restaurant because he's down to earth.
