Studying at ETH Zurich is challenging, and all students have their personal hurdles to overcome. This video series shows personal portraits of ETH students.

When Lina De Windt began her studies at ETH, it was a new world she discovered. She came from a high school, where learning was secondary and sport - in her case ballet - was paramount. In the video she talks about how she experienced this transition.

I think it's typical for a Swiss person to think that they are less educated than people from abroad, although the opposite is very often the case. I am sure that she is one of the top performers in her class - also thanks to her discipline as a dancer. In addition to her high intelligence, she is also polite and very respectful. Sometimes this can be bad for your career because other (arrogant) people take advantage of this very typically Swiss behavior. I hope she can achieve all her goals, she seems to be a very energetic and passionate person. All the best!
