The other day some dude I was helping told me I need to smile more or customers will avoid me and I responded with “god forbid”. He just gave me a look of bewilderment like he never expected something like that and it made me smile so he got what he wanted.

If you're in pain, they still won't let you sit. They won't even try to find a replacement for you. That makes it worse. I know someone who quit on the spot because of it. And I don't blame her at all. I'm SO glad I don't work retail anymore!!💯

I argued with the district manager about this at Walmart because they made the poor 86yr old woman, Karen, stand by the door to greet people. In winter. Not allowed to wear a sweater or sit. To hell with Walmart.


Magically after I was gone, they allowed her and others to sit and wear sweaters. I’m all it takes is one person to not give a damn and say something about it. So much money embezzling went on. Insane.
