One of my viewers received a 30-day notice to vacate their rental unit. The viewer lived in the unit for a long time, always timely paid rent, but now the viewer must find another place to live.

Can a landlord evict you for no reason at all?

You can sue if you didn't default. They caused damage to you and cost you stress and time, get a lawyer.

HELP please 🥺 I had just received a 30 day to vacate notice via text message without a reason stated in writing in Sacramento CA, never missed a payment in 6 years and 0 complaints from landlord or others. It is private landlord.
How I'm protected in this horrible economic times? I've been renting from him for almost 6 years now.
I'm stunned! Called him and asked to explain, he said he is sorry but need to evict me to put in refugee from Ukraine!
Now am I protected somehow? I can't afford this crazy prices of new rents in California.
Please HELP someone!

Wow, the landlord and tenant laws are A LOT different in Wisconsin compared to Ontario. Here a landlord can only take a tenant to court after a tenant does not move out after a 90 day notice. Then too, the tenant will not get evicted if he/she has been paying rent on time.

Can landlord threaten to kick me out for leaving a polite note asking neighbors to be mindful of running and stomping.
The landlord says "it's chicken shit" to have done that and he'll evict us. He told us to talk to neighbor, we left a note as a form of communication.
How are we at fault for doing what landlord told us to do

I have a question, A tenant just moved into the new house with a 1 year lease contract. When he notices things that need to be fixed the Home owner does not want to fix the issues and is now requesting to cancel the signed lease. What does the tenant or home owner do next? what is the next step to this messy situation?

So if you get a new landlord and he kicks you out because he doesn't want blacks there, he can evict you without giving a reason.
How is this even legal!?

Hello Help Please. Our landlord in UT has asked us to move out because she needs to move back in. We had just renewed a 1 year lease. We said we would move out if she returned our deposit so that we may use it to pay for another place but she is refusing to return our deposit. Any tips? Advice is appreciated

Informative, but not helpful for my circumstances. My landlord told me on the phone July 10th, that because my Mom is dead now, that he wants me out of the house by August 31, because he's selling it.
(Originally, he requested the end of July, until I begged him to think realistically) Reading about 30 & 60 Day "No Cause" Evictions, there is a " Relocation Fees" that Landlords must pay to Tenants when they want them moved out with short notice, for a couple of reasons. They're moving relatives into the property, or by selling it, the new owners will want to obtain possession of the property, needing the current tenants to vacate. Which I understand, however, I have not been served anything legal yet, and want to know how I tell LL, legally in writing that I would need " Relocation Fees" if he wants me out in 30 or 60 days, and that he would be wise to think of today's market prices for renters when constructing an amount that's fair and realistic to relocate?
So sorry, if this is confusing, but I'd very much appreciate your input and time. Please ask me if you need additional info, and THANKS 🤗
