If you are struggling with damage this video is for you. NG+7 very much needs buffs or status effects to be fun.

My bad for not writing down the names of the buffs.
Body buffs: First is Flame, grant me strength, second is exhalted flesh, third is bloodboil aromatic.
Aura buffs is golden vow and rallying standard.
Weapon buffs is Incantations, greases and ashes of wars.
Special buffs is jellyfish shield and white mask.

I never use temporary buffs in games because I have this weird mindset that if I can't sustain it infinitely then it's not actually true strength. Lately I have been eating salmon irl so I gave grown enough brain cells to realize that using flame grant me strength and golden vow is completely sustainable and worth it.

commanders standard is amazing for any build that can reach 24 strength.

im actually experimenting with it as my main weapon power stanced.
so far the reach is the best part, its only like an inch shorter than the longest weapon in the game (the pike).

Mandatory? Not really. They are nice for sure but i just ran a str int build with starscourge gs and lions bow on ng+7, no buffs, no bleed, no frostbite just raw stats and you still can clap the bosses

One thing I found people don’t know the glintstone buffs apply to the glintstone dragon breath so it can receive double buff

I usually use incant Vow and Braggart roar ashes on my golem halbert. And idk how much % it added but usually the combo i usually do.
