People say those embryos are worth nothing and they're not human, even despite the fact you can tell their gender as embryos. One of the reasons why Women like IVF, they can pick and choose.

It is worth noting, that very early in normal pregnancy, also mamy embryos die (of natural causes), usually before woman even knows she was pregnant. They aren't selected by humans, they died of natural causes and not 97% (I read once its 40%? I'm not sure) so it's different. But it is one more reason to be against IV: if in perfects conditions (inside woman) so many die, maybe its not wise to put them on glass and select by hand "the best of".

Infertility is absolutely heartbreaking, and I myself am unsure if I’ll be able to bear my own kids. I’d rather adopt children who aren’t blood related to me in a heartbeat though, than knowing most of my babies are being mistreated and killed:(

I’m pro-life and strongly against IVF (despite having friends who went this route) but I cannot see why the unimplanted embryo should be kept in its frozen state. I do not have a problem with disposing of them because they are not developing into a fetus. It is different once implanted and if you must implant four, you must keep any and all of the four that grow. Implanting many is just wickedness all around. I personally see life beginning at correct implantation in the womb. Man interfering with conception has made false dilemmas.

Sounds like a good reason to regulate IVF at least. Acknowledging the humanity of human embryos would go a long way. I wonder what the statistics would be then?

Ok.. so are they saying utilizing IVF clinics is a BAD thing? People should just not donate or use them for pregnancy help? Cuz it doesn't sound like she wants change, it sounds like she wants them gone. Also she said "out of the UK".. That's a study for THEIR clinics.. not ALL clinics. And if this lady believes the "which life are you going to choose".. so should we be asking sperm that too? Or just donated eggs? Cuz every cycle doesn't equal a baby .. are WE responsible for an egg not implanting? That's crazy. This lady is crazy.
