command i use in method 3 :
diskpart
list disk
select disk 0
list partition
select partition 1
active
exit

command i use in method 4 :
chkdsk c: /f /x /r
sfc /scannow

Hopoefully this helps my boot drive...Installed faster ram, rebooted, windows went into automatic repair and locked my boot drive...couldn't do restore because I got this error message you are referring to.

Hello! I tried your steps but unfortunately it still didn't work. Step 1 failed, step 2 also didn't work. Unfortunately with step 3 it said that the active command only worked on MBR drives. I have already run method 4 but to the same result :(
