To create a windows 10 recovary drive, is it necessary to format the pendrive in ntfs or not?

I have an Asus BR1100CKA with only 64GB eMMC. Windows recovery says the drive is too small for recovery. Since Windoze is such a resource hog, the MINIMUM size drive for any computer should be 256GB, to allow room for OS & programs / apps. A MINIMUM of 16GB RAM should be the new standard for any computer using Windoze, since the OS still sometimes chokes on 8GB RAM.

Thanks for the easy guide 👍.
I got the Asus ROG today. Can I make a backup of the whole system? I don't see any Asus app which helps me to create that.

I used windows recovery option and created a sys backup in usb drive, but not sure it will backup everything like Asus aura apps, pre-installed drivers and settings. Would it also include those, and will get all back when restored?

ASUS I really need your help on this one. So i was downgrading from Windows 11 back to Windows 10 through the Go Back To Windows 10 feature. it started bootlooping and then i got recovery error 0xc0000225. I tried everything. I plugged in my Windows 10 USB Drive Installation and booted from it. But it couldn't download because Windows cannot detect the C Drive (Boot Drive). (The UEFI Can tho.) What do i do!? Please respond as soon as possible. TYSM!! laptop name : Asus tuf gaming f17

After creating a recovery USB and resetting with this procedure, Windows 11 recovery itself was successful, but even the Windows 10 installation image and MYASUS partition that were originally in the SSD were deleted. Is there any way to restore these?

I have an asus R751LB and my computer stopped reacting. I used HDD regenerator, but there were so many bad sectors that it is beyond repair. Using macrium reflect, I was able to copy the files in the hidden recovery partition. I now bought a new hard drive, but is there a way to recreate a new hidden partition and copy those files there, and create a new boot on the hard drive, so I can use the recovery tool again?

I am getting an error that reads: "We can't create a recover drive on this PC. Some required files are missing." My first thought is that I bought an Asus laptop with Windows 11 home on it. Then I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro. Does doing this make me lose necessary files? Or is the problem that my recovery partition is a lesser version than my current version? Is there any way to make a recovery partition for a system that has been upgraded from Win 11 home to Pro?
